The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority recently cited West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) for providing additional equipment and manpower during the government agency’s dewatering operations. Last month, the monsoon rains (“Habagatâ€) and tropical storm “Maring†submerged major thoroughfares all over the metro. Maynilad helped MMDA dewater the Lagusnilad Underpass in Manila and Malibay Street corner Taft Avenue in Pasay City, by suctioning 3,930 cubic meters of floodwater.
