Maynilad wins Anvil Awards for crisis and employee comm

West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) won two Merit Awards at the 46th Anvil Awards held yesterday, February 18, at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel in Mandaluyong City.

Maynilad was given noteworthy distinction for the company’s crisis communication efforts on “Water Discoloration in The West Zone” (Specialized Public Relations Projects – one time basis: Crisis/Disaster and Risk Communications) and its flagship employee communication channel, “Ripples – the Maynilad official newsletter” (Public Relations Tools – Internal Publications: Newsletter).

The Anvil Awards is awarded by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP).  It is the symbol of excellence in public relations in the Philippines, awarded by a distinguished multi-sectoral jury to outstanding public relations programs and tools designed and implemented in the past year.
