Maynilad supports Philwater 2011 Expo

West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) recently extended its support to the PhilWater 2011 Conference, which was organized by the Philippine Water Works Association, Inc. (PWWA).

PWWA is the umbrella organization of the Philippine Water Industry. Every year, PWWA mounts the PhilWater conference to showcase the latest innovations and technology on water and wastewater management and discuss the emerging issues and concerns of the industry.

During the conference, a number of Maynilad officials shared their knowledge on PPP, leak detection technologies, Greenhouse Gases accounting, integrated meter management, water safety plans and climate change proofing and adaptation with local and foreign participants.

“We thank PWWA for the opportunity to share our expertise with other participants and to learn best practices from other water industry practitioners. With the continued exchange and enhancement of our water expertise, we can provide more people with reliable and cost-efficient water solutions,” Maynilad president and CEO Victorico P. Vargas said.
