Maynilad supports DepEd’s Brigada Eskwela

In support of the Brigada Eskwela program of the Department of Education, Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) refurbished classrooms and sanitation facilities in some 30 public schools in Caloocan, Malabon, Manila, Muntinlupa, Navotas and Valenzuela. Maynilad also donated water education signages, computers, chairs, trash bins and other supplies to the schools.

“Sanitation and access to clean water are necessary to create an enabling environment for our young Filipino learners. By participating in Brigada Eskwela, we hope to establish both in the public schools located in the West Zone," said Maynilad President and CEO Ricky Vargas.

Maynilad is the largest private water concessionaire in the Philippines in terms of customer base. It is the concessionaire of the MWSS for the West Zone of the Greater Manila Area, which is composed of the cities of Manila (certain portions), Quezon City (certain portions), Makati (west of South Super Highway), Caloocan, Pasay, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Valenzuela, Navotas and Malabon all in Metro Manila; the cities of Cavite, Bacoor and Imus, and the towns of Kawit, Noveleta and Rosario, all in Cavite Province.
