MOTORISTS passing through the Aguinaldo Highway in Cavite are advised to take alternate routes beginning April 15 until October 2009 as Maynilad implements its pipe-laying project, which will benefit some 9,000 households in the area.
Maynilad’s P450-million project involves the installation of a 1,400-mm primary line from the Las Piñas/Baclaran boundary of Coastal Road to Tirona Highway in Bacoor, Cavite, and a 700-mm primary line from Tirona Highway to Mambog, Imus, Cavite.
To give way to this project, private motorists are advised to take any of the following alternate routes:
From Manila to Cavite:
1. General Evangelista to Salinas Road
2. Daang Bukid to Salinas Road
3. Imus to Binakayan Road to Patindig Araw
From Cavite to Manila
1. Mambog to Niog
2. Mambog to Molino Road
3. Daang Hari to Molino Road
Once the project is completed, subdivisions and establishments along Aguinaldo Highway in Bacoor and Imus will finally have access to safe, reliable and affordable surface water from Maynilad.
