West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) participated in the 5th Global Handwashing Day of the United Nations Children’s Fund and the Global Public-Private Partnership for Handwashing, by giving away 200 handwashing kits with instructional materials to the students of Corazon Aquino Elementary School in Batasan Hill, Quezon City.
Held every year on October 15, The Global Handwashing Day is celebrated in over 100 countries by 200 million people. In support of this program, Maynilad has installed wash-and-drink stations in over 126 schools across the West Zone.
