Maynilad head for Quality, Environment, Safety and Health, Atty. Roel Espiritu (rightmost), talked about the water company’s sustainability reporting journey during the first-ever “Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability Summit” in the Philippines.
The GRI Summit gathered key private and public sector leaders to help promote sustainability reporting in the country. Espiritu joined the panel discussion on, “Challenges, Keys to Success and Impacts of Sustainability Reporting” so that other local companies may be encouraged to disclose their sustainability performance and enhance their business resiliency.

Maynilad has received several recognitions for its sustainability reporting excellence, including one from the Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA), which cited the company for “Best Stakeholder Reporting” and “Best Environmental Reporting” in 2015.
