West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) recently completed the installation of its P68.6-million Julian Modular Treatment Plant (MTP)—one of four MTPs that the water company is constructing in Cavite Province to help improve service levels in the area by producing additional water supply drawn from nearby rivers.
Located inside Maynilad’s Patindig Araw Pumping Station in Imus City, the Julian MTP can produce 4 million liters of water per day (MLD) once it becomes operational by yearend, improving water availability and pressure for about 19,000 Maynilad customers in Cavite. The photo shows Maynilad officials led by its President and CEO Ramoncito S. Fernandez (third from right) inspecting the distribution pumps of the Julian MTP’s product water tank.
