Maynilad president Rogelio L. Singson recently swore in 19 new Maynilad Pollution Control Officers (PCO) for the company’s water and sewage treatment, pumping and distribution facilities. The new PCOs will ensure Maynilad’s continued environmental compliance in delivering quality water and sewerage services in the West Zone. The PCO team will also strengthen Maynilad’s existing pollution control programs, and collaborate with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and other agencies in their own pollution prevention and abatement initiatives.
The oathtaking of Maynilad PCOs was witnessed by Engineers Geri Geronimo Sañez, Renato T. Cruz and Cesar Ciador of the DENR-Environmental Management Board, who oriented the PCOs on Philippine environmental laws.
