Maynilad fast tracks Parañaque Sewer Network Project

West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) has already laid 34.6 kilometers of the 77-kilometer sewer line that it is installing in Parañaque City, which is part of its effort to protect community health and the environment through proper sewage collection and treatment.

The water company’s Parañaque Sewer Network Project is still on track to be completed by the third quarter of 2017. Once completed, the project will benefit some 470,000 people in nine barangays and 95 subdivisions in Parañaque.

Funded by the Development Bank of the Philippines and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Parañaque Sewer Network Project is part of Maynilad’s program to expedite the provision of sewerage and sanitation services in Metro Manila.
