West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) shared its multiple expertise in water and wastewater operations in the recently concluded Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), the global platform for exchanging innovative water solutions among governments, international organizations, water sector players and academic professionals.
Central Non-Revenue Water (NRW) head Engr. Irineo Dimaano discussed Maynilad’s successful battle against water losses while Wastewater Management head Engr. Antonio Garcia shared the company’s innovative scheme to address space constraint, as applied to the San Antonio and Del Monte sewage treatment plants (STP).
Corporate Quality, Environment, Safety and Health head Engr. Francisco Arellano co-chaired the panel discussion on future trends and issues on water safety plans (WSP), spoke in the WSP symposium and made a poster presentation on carbon footprint and greenhouse gases accounting.
This year’s SIWW convention drew more than 20,000 participants from 118 countries/regions.
