Maynilad donates wash and drink station to QC public school

West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) recently donated a wash and drink station to Calalay Elementary School in Quezon City.   Over 1,100 students and nearly 40 faculty members are expected to benefit from the said facility, which was built under the company’s Lingkod Eskwela Program.   The Lingkod Eskwela Program aims to provide West Zone public schools with access to clean and potable water through the construction of drinking stations, clean-up of water reservoirs and tanks, regular water quality inspections, and scheduled cleaning of school toilets.    Calalay Elementary School is the 46th public school to benefit from Maynilad’s Lingkod Eskwela Program. To date, the water company has built 46 wash and drink stations in public schools all over Metro Manila.  Around 180,000 students have benefited from the program.   Maynilad is the private water and wastewater services provider for the West Zone which is composed of the cities of Manila (all but portions of San Andres and Sta. Ana), Quezon City (west of San Juan River, West Avenue, EDSA, Congressional, Mindanao Avenue, the northern part starting from the Districts of the Holy Spirit and Batasan Hills), Makati (west of South Super Highway), Caloocan, Pasay, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Valenzuela, Navotas and Malabon—all in Metro Manila; Cavite City, and the towns of Bacoor, Imus, Kawit, Noveleta and Rosario—all in Cavite Province.
