As part of its hydration support for "All Saints’ Day" activities, West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) will be deploying water stations in the Manila North Cemetery and providing 4,000 pieces of bottled water for motorists passing through the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) and Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX).
The water stations are intended for the consumption of cemetery goers, in support of the “Rescue 5 First-Aid and Public Assistance Station” of TV5 News at the Manila North Cemetery on October 31 (Tuesday) and November 1 (Wednesday). Meanwhile, Maynilad bottled water will also be made available in selected toll stations of NLEX, SCTEX and CAVITEX, where the volume of motorists is expected to increase as Filipinos go back to the provinces for “All Saints’ Day”.
“We in Maynilad aim to provide ‘higit sa tubig na serbisyo,’ and this hydration support is really our means of ensuring that the public stay hydrated as they go to cemeteries and pray for their departed loved ones,” said Maynilad President and CEO Ramoncito S. Fernandez.
