The donated computers will allow the schools to serve more students per class and ensure a more regular class schedule. Prior to the donation, the students made use of six computer terminals shared by some 50 students at a time.
“The shortage in computers means that many of the sections do not get the chance to attend computer classes as regularly as the top sections. With this donation, we’re hoping that we didn’t just share hardware to these schools but also the chance learn skills that would help them in the future,” said Maynilad President and CEO Ricky P. Vargas.
