West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) won one Gold and two Silver Awards in the 2019 Stevies International Business Awards (IBA) for its crisis communication and advocacy programs.
The Stevies IBA is a prestigious global competition that honors accomplishments in the workplace. This year’s winners—chosen from 4,000 nominations from organizations in 74 nations—were determined through more than two months of judging by 250 professionals worldwide.
Maynilad won a Gold Stevie Award for its “Managing the Turbidity Issue due to Typhoon Mangkhut” Program, under the competition’s “Communications or PR Campaign of the Year–Crisis Management” Category.
Maynilad also won a Silver Award each for its corporate social responsibility programs “GinhaWASH” under the “Communications Team of the Year” Category, and “Hope in Water
Partnerships: Making the Poor a Priority” under the “Communications or PR Campaign of the Year–Corporate Responsibility” Category.
