MAYNILAD WATER SERVICE UPDATE (November 14, 2020, 12 noon)

As of 8 p.m. last night, Nov. 13, 2020, we have restored the normal production of our La Mesa Treatment Plants in Quezon City, as the turbidity in the raw water coming from Ipo Dam has decreased to manageable levels.

Our major reservoirs have been refilled overnight, enabling us to gradually restore water service in all areas.

Majority of the affected customers already have normal water supply availability as of this morning. Only a few areas—mostly those in the elevated portions of Quezon City, Valenzuela, Caloocan, Bacoor, and Imus—still experience a limited supply availability window. This will steadily improve over the succeeding hours, as our pumping stations continue to boost pressure in the pipelines so the water supply can reach the most far-flung and elevated areas.

We are continuously monitoring the water situation in these areas until the supply is fully restored, which should be not later than tomorrow, Nov. 15, 2020. Meantime, we will sustain the delivery of potable water via tankers to these remaining 9% of affected customers.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.
