Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) President and CEO Victorico P. Vargas presented to an audience of human resources professionals at the recently concluded “Kapatiran sa Industriya: Best Practices on Employer-Employee Partnership” summit of the Employer’s Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP).
Vargas shared Maynilad’s business transformation and its move to instill a culture of innovation among employees, which enables the company to deliver safe, affordable and sustainable water solutions in the West Zone concession and beyond.
The program was held during ECOP’s 10th General Members’ Meeting last July 9 at the Henry Sy Sr. Auditorium of St. Luke’s Medical Center in Taguig, which featured past and present winners of the Kapatiran sa Industriya (KAPATID) Awards. Maynilad is the 2015 Grand Winner of the KAPATID Awards, recognized for having excelled in the four main criteria of the awards, namely: Industrial Peace and Harmony, Quality and Productivity, Social Accountability and Strategic Visioning and Partnering for Business and Job Survival.
