Billing delays will soon be a thing of the past with the recent soft launch of Maynilad’s Agad Basa, Bilis Imprenta project.
West Zone concessionaire Maynilad is adopting a new technology that will allow its meter readers to print a customer’s Statement of Account immediately after recording the consumed water volume for the month.
Using a special portable printer, Maynilad meter readers can print Statements of Account on special thermal paper which, under normal conditions and unlike usual thermal paper, would not fade up to five years after its printing.
The Agad Basa, Bilis Imprenta project was first implemented on Maynilad’s 2,500 accounts in South Caloocan. Maynilad is fine tuning the project for implementation in its other serviced areas.
Maynilad’s concession area includes the cities of Manila (all but portions of San Andres and Sta. Ana), Quezon City (west of San Juan River, West Avenue, EDSA, Congressional, Mindanao Avenue, the northern part starting from the Districts of the Holy Spirit, and Batasan Hills), Makati (west of South Super Highway), Caloocan, Pasay, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Valenzuela, Navotas and Malabon all in Metro Manila, and the municipalities of Bacoor, Imus, Kawit, Noveleta and Rosario in Cavite Province.
